Update your MSDSs
All employers are responsible for providing up to date information to their employees on the hazardous properties of chemicals used in the workplace. GHS Safety Data Sheets and Labels
GHS has introduced new elements to the MSDS, now known as the Safety Data Sheet or SDS. These standardized label elements, including hazard pictograms, signal words and hazard statements, provide the classification and labeling of a chemical product in a consistent manner. Information which may contribute to the overall hazard of the product is also provided on the SDS. As chemical manufacturers convert their existing MSDSs to GHS SDS format, GHS labels will accompany these new SDSs.
