MSDSpro and KMK are the co-presenters of the EHS Today webinar “GHS: Its Implications and Impact on Your Business” , scheduled for October 2009. KMK’s CEO and Chief Science Officer, Dr. Luc Seguin, said, “Today, more than ever before, chemical manufacturers must adopt a vision, a strategy, and a structural approach in view of their worldwide GHS implementation. This webinar offers advice on the fundamentals to guide your company‘s process in doing so. The adoption of the Global Harmonization System, developed and approved by the United Nations, has become a non-binding recommendation to ALL countries. The key to a successful GHS implementation starts with the analysis of each and every SUBSTANCE present in your product. The GHS classification requires a complex calculation to determine the correct rating for the classification system.”

MSDSpro, LLC Joins 4D, Inc.'s OEM Program
San Jose, CA., August 19, 2002 -- 4D, Inc. today welcomes MSDSpro, LLC to 4D's OEM Program. MSDSpro publishes MSDSpro, a vertical market application for managing chemical inventory and maintaining regulatory compliance for documenting and distributing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Companies who deal with chemical management are required by law to provide MSDS sheets to employees for chemical safety purposes. The MSDSpro application, which began as a custom development job in 4D, was launched with 4D Engine, and is currently deployed with the 4D Server application at the enterprise level.
"The beauty is in 4D we can create powerful standalone applications, allowing our customers to save on IT costs and enabling us to keep a much smaller development team than our competitors," said Ali Zaarour, president of MSDSpro. "The 4D OEM Program is a perfect fit for us since we wanted a software vendor relationship which was more than a 'supplier-buyer' relationship."
"MSDSpro, LLC has done an incredible job of demonstrating the innovative capabilities of 4D, and we are pleased to have the company join the OEM Program" said Brendan Coveney, president and CEO of 4D, Inc. "From the very beginning, we have sought to provide OEM members with the products, resources, and support they need to truly succeed in their specialized markets, and we look forward to doing so for MSDSpro."
